What our Fundraising is all about
We are SOCIAL DISTRACTIONS & we have Events in Ipswich to raise awareness & funds for IPSWICH SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT (Reg Charity No. 1048827) to get vital life-saving equipment for new-born Special Care babies.
Each year in the UK one in 10 babies is born before 37 weeks. Of the 52,000 premature births each year in Britain about 2,500 babies will weigh less than 4lb and will require long-term care in a special care baby unit. We are all familiar with the Incubators -

Funds are vital for the care of babies that have been a wee bit too eager to come into the world. We raise funds with our events via Entrance Fees, Raffles, Donations & Participation generally. As we are fundraising for Charity, with every penny going to the Special Care Baby Unit, we are totally reliant on the kindness & generosity of local 'sociable' people taking part in our events, offering services & promoting the word about us
